Albania: Albania has the Rozafa castle which is a castle on a rocky hill, near Shkodër that tourists view due to its long history. Another Albanian attraction is Mt. Dajt which is a large mountain near Tirana, as well as a climbing and hiking spot and a national park. Albania's Natinal Historical Museum is also a popular place to visit since it has expositions about the country's past and culture.
Andorra: Andorra has Lake Sant Joan de Caselles which is a still standing church in Canillo that was built in the 11th century and is now a popular tourist attraction. They also have Lake Engolasters, a lake near the capital that was formed by glaciers, like the great lakes of North America, and the lake also has several old structures in the area that people visit as well, such as radio towers.
Bosnia and Herzegovina: The Kravice waterfall is a huge Bosnian attraction near Ljubuški that is large, beautiful, and has crystal clear water. Another attraction is the Stari Most which is an ancient Ottoman bridge in Mostar that was built in the 16th century, and has a lot of history to it.
Croatia: Croatia has it's magnificent Plitvice Lakes National Park, which is an astonishing place, and has clear water flowing down treetops and land formations and is purely breathtaking. Another Croatian attraction is Diocletian's palace in Split, which was the palace of the Roman emperor Diocletian and was built in the 4th century, making it ancient and very popular among tourists.
Greece: The Acropolis of Athens is a historic citadel in Athens built in the 5th century that many people visit due to its history and mythology. The Samariá Gorge is a national park filled with canyons and streams that many enjoy visiting and hiking in.
Italy: Italy has the famous Leaning Tower of Pisa, a tilted bell tower in Pisa made in the thirteenth century that tons of people visit daily. Italy also has Mt. Vesuvius, a large active volcano that is in Pompeii, and is a major attraction.
Malta: The Ħaġar Qim is a temple that is now in ruins, but was built in circa 3000 BC, making it one of the oldest structures in the world. The Blue Grotto collection of caves at sea that are a popular fishing and diving location in Southern Malta.
Montenegro: Montenegro's Kotor Cathedral, one of two Roman Catholic cathedrals in the country, is in Kotor, and was built in the 12th century. The Tara River Canyon, is another attraction , and it is a very popular zip-lining spot, as well as a river rafting location.
Portugal: The Belém Tower in Lisbon is a tower that was a stronghold during medieval times. Another Portuguese attraction is the Peneda-Gerês National Park which is a popular walking and hiking spot, and has plant and animal life that tourists observe and admire.
San Marino: San Marino has the Guaita castle in Città di San Marino which dates back to the 15th century, and has a lot of history behind it. Monte Titano is the highest peak in San Marino, and is near capital.
Serbia: Serbia has the Kalmegdan which is a fortress in Belgrade that used to be a Roman military camp, back in the 1st century. The Resava cave is a connection of caves, one of the largest in Serbia, located in Jelovac, and is a popular attraction.
Slovenia: Slovenia has Lake Bled, in the city of Bled which is a large lake with a lan formation in it's center that has buildings on it. Another tourist destination is the Triple Bridge in Ljubljana that was built in 1842, replacing an older wooden bridge.
Spain: Spain has its huge Sagrada Familia, a Roman Catholic church in Barcelona designed by Antoni Gaudi in 1882. Montserrat is a large mountain range in Catalonia with several high peaks, and a nearby monastery that was also designed by Gaudi.
The Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia: The Koki observatory ruins, near the Serbian border, are whats left of an old observatory that is thought to have been built in the 7th century. Macedonia also has the Mavrovo Lake, a body of water near Skopje that is a tourist destination, and has a church near it that is also visited.
